Today we listened to the story of The Ghosts’ Dinner! It’s a story about ghosts who change colors when they eat or drink. They ate salad and turned green, they drank grape juice and turned purple, they ate strawberry ice cream and turned pink, but they couldn’t go out trick or treating like that, so they drank milk and turned white again.
After reading, we made our own silly ghosts. This time they turned into the foods they ate. Some ghosts turned into pizza, salad, pie, apples, watermelon, and hot dogs!
After drawing, we finished the sentence to tell what the ghost ate. We have learned all of the letters and sounds, so we can start writing words!
We said each word, counted the sounds in the word, and wrote letters to match each sound. Last, we read the sentences on our ghosts!
