January 24th – Today we read another edition in the Elmer series, Elmer in the Snow, written by David McKee. In this silly story, our favorite elephant is up to trickery once again. He decided to take his elephant friends up a mountain to see snow for the very first time! The elephants had a great time slipping and sliding around, building a snow elephant, and having a huge snowball fight! Book Bunchers made their own snowstorm mobiles and put their listening skills to the test in a careful listening activity!
