May 9th- Today Book Bunch read Dr. De Soto by William Steig. Dr. De Soto is one of a kind. He is a dentist, who treats small and large patients alike, and is also a mouse! It is his policy not to treat any patients who could decide that he would be a good lunch, so when a sneaky fox appears with a terrible toothache, Dr. De Soto has to decide if it is worth the risk to help the poor fox. Book Bunchers made adorable button-nose mice and discussed the characters traits of Mr. Fox.
