Ms. Snyder joined St. Stephen School faculty in 2013. She teaches English, Language Arts to grades 6,7, and 8, and Grade 6 Social Studies. She is also the grade 6 homeroom teacher.
Ms. Snyder earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Buffalo State College, majoring in English. She also holds a Masters Degree of Science from Buffalo State College specializing in English Education with NYS Professional Certification English Education 7-12.
Prior to joining St. Stephen School, Ms. Snyder taught five years in Notre Dame Academy, South Buffalo, and two years in the Charlotte, NC school district. While at Piedmont IB Middle School in Charlotte, Ms. Snyder received the Magnet Schools of America Grant.

The safe, close-knit community reminds me of when I went to Catholic grammar school and high school.
Why did you want to become a teacher/administrator?
I wanted to share my knowledge and love of literature.

My goal is to inspire my students to be life-long learners.
