Welcome to art class. The art curriculum is set up to include all areas of art so that students are exposed to many new techniques and materials. The plan is to introduce them to drawing , figure drawing, perspective  drawing, painting, elements of design,  weaving, sculpture, ceramics, etc. before  they leave St. Stephen’s. My goal is to provide an atmosphere for having fun, enjoying art,, actually learning  something and producing work  that the student’s can be proud of. I try to display as much work as possible which gives them a sense of pride.

POSTER CLUB: will meet on various Wednesday’s  each  month. Those students interested in staying after school for help in designing their posters are welcome. Actual dates and grades will be announced as information on contests is received.

ANNUAL ART SHOW Mid June to Mid September  each year art work by the students  of St. Stephen’s  is on display at the Grand Island Memorial Library.
