Book It has changed. Instead of doing another book club, we will mark our reading time. Students in 5^th grade need to read 250 minutes in November and 300 minutes in December. I have given every student charts so they can mark their time down.

2^nd grade will be doing Thanksgiving lessons.

3^rd grade will be receiving workbook pages weekly.

4^th grade will have homework 2 to 3 times a week in Social Studies.

5^th grade will be working on Canadian history.

6^th grade will be doing projects and reading about ancient civilizations.

Thiel College of Greenville, Pennsylvania is where I received my BA in English. Before I moved back to New York in 2000 I worked as a Montessori teacher’s assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After finishing my masters at Niagara University in 2001, I received my permanent certification. I have been teaching at St. Stephen’s for the past three years.
