Look for our Mileage Club again this year. Students learn to convert activities into miles to gain fitness benefits. An after school program with different activities, including volleyball this year, will also be offered to help the students accumulate miles. My hope is to instill in each student a firm foundation for a healthy lifestyle.

Our Co-Ed Volleyball Club has been going great! We are learning some basic skills and enjoying the game time. Each week I will let the students know if we will be meeting on that Thursday From 2:45-4:00p.m. Please remember that the students need a permission slip to stay for each session. (Mileage can be accumulated for those students that will be participating in the Mileage Club). Look for the Mileage Club to begin in January 2009!

Our “Green Club” has begun and our students are enthusiastic and ready to get to work to help preserve and protect our environment! Please help support their efforts.

Stay active.

I have been a teacher here since September 1982. This school holds a very special place in my heart and prayers. My students continue to enrich my life and keep my sense of humor in tact!  I am committed to teaching them the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. All of my own children are former graduates or are still currently enrolled in our school.

I am here every Tuesday and Thursday for Physical Education classes for grades K-8. I also have grades 7and 8 for Health classes.

Tuesday Physical Education classes include grades K,4,3,2 and 8. Thursday Physical Education classes include grades 1,5,6 and 7. Health classes for grades 7&8 are every Tuesday and Thursday.

Sneakers and a smile!

A happy and healthy year for all!
